John Knorr III serves as Chief Operating Officer for Phillips Seafood
Restaurants, overseeing the privately owned Maryland based restaurant company. Currently an eight unit
restaurant group, with two locations consistently ranking in the top 10 highest grossing independent
restaurants nationally, John has
spearheaded the company’s growth into new markets.
Under John’s direction, Phillips opened two new restaurants in Atlantic
City in 2006, Phillips Seafood and Souzai Sushi and Sake with a third, Phillips Seafood Shack, expecting to open in early 2007. John has also lead the company’s newest venture, through a strategic partnership with HMS Host, and opened five airport
locations in Baltimore, Savannah, Charlotte, Atlanta and Norfolk with more expected to open in 2007. In May of 2007 as John will open the first Phillips Seafood with Columbia
Sussex in Philadelphia’s Center City
Sheraton Hotel. John is a graduate from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland with a degree in political science.
