Responsible Alcohol Service Event (RASE)

Responsible Alcohol Service Event (RASE) is an educational event for restaurant employees that outlines the importance of serving alcohol responsibly. Front-of-house employees play a pivotal role in evaluating patrons' alcohol consumption levels and taking appropriate actions to minimize alcohol overconsumption. 

On Tuesday, June 4, 2024, RASE will take place at the Ashore Hotel in Ocean City, MD. This event will help train restaurant staff about the measures we can take to serve alcohol responsibly and the risks associated with drinking too much. 

This event is presented by the Restaurant Association of Maryland in conjunction with the Maryland Department of Transportation.
